Swim team will resume this Monday.
Here is new swim team practice schedule with extended practice times:
Tuesday May 27th - July 11th:
5 & 6 year olds: 4:00 - 5:00
7 & 8 year olds: 4:00 - 5:00
9 and Up: 5:00 - 6:15
Due to large number of students that get out of school this Friday or next Friday, morning practices will begin a week earlier than planned and will be held mornings during the week of 2 June - 6 June for ages 7 & Up. Swimmers can come to both practices or whatever practice best suits your family schedule. 5 & 6 year olds will only have practices in the afternoons.
There will be a morning practice held this coming Monday May 26th on Memorial Day from 9:00 - 10:00 for anyone 7 and older that is in town. There will not be an afternoon practice Monday May 26th.
Stroke Clinics for ages 7 & Up will be held the following Saturdays from 8:30am-9:30am:

May 12th – Jul 10th (Monday thru Friday Afternoons – No Wednesday afternoons once meets begin)

8:00 – 9:00 7 and Older

Once morning practices begin swimmers have the option to attend one or both whichever days fit within your family schedule.
Meet Schedule:
Meets will be held every Wednesday night. All meets begin at 6:00 pm. Warm-ups begin at 5:15 and run 15 – 20 minutes instead of a half hour.

Please let the coaches know in advance if your swimmer will not be able to attend a meet. All swimmers, including 5 &6 year olds, will be entered in every meet. In new league there is separate event for 5&6 year olds in backstroke. Ribbons are given thru sixth place in this league and place results are based on times swum, there is no more “swimming for points”. We are also allowed to enter two relays per age group and ribbons and scoring points are given to third place relay teams.
